Help For Families

To welcome new babies into the world and prepare families for their
arrival, New Day offers several kinds of practical assistance to parents
who come to us.  This includes

• baby care "layettes" containing newborn clothing, a blanket,
  diapers and wipes

• one-on-one mentoring for moms all the way through delivery

• vouchers for safe, portable crib, earned through our incentive program

• Loving Moms weekly support group, where moms and moms-to-be
  learn how to take care of themselves and baby, get health information
  and form friendships

• a free copy of the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting"
  and use of other pregnancy and baby care resources from our library

• vouchers for merchandise from the Mission Wearhouse thrift store
  next door to our center

• programs just for dads - to be developed soon!
